I came across registereverywhere the other day. Has anyone had any dealings with this company as I am unsure at this point. If so, let me know how they did for you.

According to their web site:
Search engine submission to 161 search engines.

There aren't really 161 search engines. At least there aren't 161 major search engines. I can only think of a few:
Ask Jeeves
Teoma
MSN
Yahoo!
Google

5 years ago it was okay to submit to the search engines--now it's absolutely not necessary whatsoever. The search engines will pick up your site themselves as long as you have links from other sites.

Most of the "services" they offer are outdated and not necessary.

Bhartzer - wow quite a statement for never using themsmile I have referred at least 14 clients over the past 2 years to registereverywhere. As they correctly state on their "Questions" Page there are 12 major search engines out there. The rest are minor search engines or derivatives of the larger ones in other countries.

Google
Yahoo
AOL Search
MSN
Altavista
Alltheweb
Ask
Hotbot
Lycos
Iwon
ICQ
Netscape

Others have added dogpile to that list.

In any event, I mostly refer clients for registereverywhere's first page ranker option. They are one of the few companies on the Internet that actually guarantee ranking. All of my clients are currently on the first page of Yahoo and Google. Granted most of the sites I manage are all older than 2 years. By registereverywhere's own statement they cannot optimize one word keywords. They also will not optimize home business opportunity sites, gambling sites, nor online pharmacy sites.

They work just greatsmile It feels like Im pitching for the company, but Im not. My clients know I use registereverywhere and I would not want them to think I would involve them with a company that cannot perform, as they have proven they certainly can.

God Bless,

A lot of the search engines you list get their results from Google and Yahoo!. So, if you're listed in Google you'll also be listed in AOL.

There's really only 3 major search engines that send the majority of traffic: Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.
wow quite a statement for never using them

Yeah, unbelievable. I don't even have to use them or even see the site. There's only 3 major search engines, not 161.
They are one of the few companies on the Internet that actually guarantee ranking.

That's too bad, as guaranteed rankings are something that Google states on their website:
No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google..

Bhartzer - The guarantee is first page ranking, not #1 ranking. In addition, their guarantee states if they don't deliver first page ranking they give you a full refund. All my customers are on the first page with their terms.

Good luck.
