Hi,
Does anyone have any news on when Quigo will launch AdSonar? The web site still refers to a January launch. It doesn't bode well that I can't get an answer to my direct email enquiries to Quigo.
Thanks

I tried contacting them for more information about their AdSonar program, and their reply was that they're not currently accepting any more publishers at the moment.
It appears that their launch of AdSonar may be delayed. They still have a week until the end of January, though, so they may still make the "January Launch" like they said.

Message from the AdSonar folks is as follows:
Hi Martha,
We've received your information request about AdSonar a while ago. I apologize for the tardy response - we've been working during this time on creating the best contextual advertising platform in the world for online publishers.
We are currently beta-testing the product and finalizing the QA process. The system will be available to the public in early 2004. In the mean time, we'll be taking a small number of selected publishers for our final testing phase. We are asking that these publisher be patient with us, provide constructive feedback and help us create a user friendly product. Our beta publishers are receiving most of the revenues generated during this phase.
We have reviewed your site, and it could be eligible for the test phase. If you are interested in participating, please let me know.
Thanks...
That was last month.
They are being cautious and doing this right. I think they know a lot is riding on this and one big mistake could give them a bad rap right from the start. Detailed tracking for clients and advertisers alike, direct deposit and other options must be correct if they want to take the lead!

Thanks
I guess that they won't make it in Jan. I haven't heard a whisper from them so perhaps they're working flat out.
Thanks again for the feedback.

Quigo recently launched AdSonar for several specific topics:
Health,
Beauty & Fitness,
Travel
Education
Unfortunately, my website (free-web-hosting-help.com) does not fall into one of these topics. However, I would be very interested to know how AdSonar stacks up to AdSense for a website in one of these categories. I would guess that revenue per click would be lower, but am not sure...
