I am always asked "what is your best Adsense tip?". Here is my five best and most important Adsense tips:

- Less internal and external links on the page
- Having the ads with the same background color as the page background
- Having one leaderboard 728 x 90 text ad at the top and one at the bottom of the page
- Having one 300x250 text ad at the middle of the page somewhere among texts
- Well optimized pages with a good title, description,
headline and ... .

Can you add more tips?

Best tip I can give:

Read this page and do what it says to start.

After that, test and tweak, test and tweak.

If you have a blog, then put the AdSense code at the end of the post or near the "next" area.

When someone is finished reading your post, they need some place to go next..and having AdSense there, which will display on-topic ads, is a great opportunity for people to click and go to another site.

My best tip is to load your page and see what is displaying.

I found that leaderboards on some pages brought in ads that I didn't want to see, or were irrlevant, but the smaller text ads - smaller - brought in relevant or non-embarrassing ads.

Maybe it can be the other way around.

Also, 2 leaderboards stacked on on top of another looks good, with a
between. But 3 leaderboards is over-kill.

Judge what will happen in advance.

Most of my pages are advice. Its fairly certain that people will either read all of my page due to interest, or none of it. If none, I want an ad at top. If all of it, I want the other 2 ads all the way at the very bottom. Otherwise they pass by the mid-page ad if I stick on there, which I don't.

But that's my need.
