I have almost 300 thousand opt ins that i have never marketed to. Does anyone have any advice, software companies to sell it to etc for getting the most out of this?

Be careful; don't forget what they opted into - was it to receive email from software companies?
If they opted in for something specific, that limits their opt-in-ness to that item; for all else, they are NOT opted in.
Then there's practicalities; how old are the opt-ins? are they still valid? Do the email addresses still work?

only one way to find out! I honestly dont knwo where to start, the emails are as new as last month to as old as 2003, so there is no way to know which ones are still or were ever valid and which arent until I attempt to mail to them

Did they opt-in to your service or to someone else's service?
If they opted in to someone else's service, then they probably haven't opted in to your service.

Have you sent email newsletters to these people before? Or have you been collecting addys for the past few years and not using them? You'll need to explain more about what you are talking about and the nature of the addys.
About selling them: DON'T DO THAT!
