does anybody know of an affordable hosting company that will not cut me off for broadcast emailing my completely legitimate opt-in list?

hosting company...no...they have to cut it off, usually at 1000 for a benchmark. They have laws and regulations, as well as spam and bandwidth issues that they need to address.

There are services that you can pay to send the emails for you that will make sure you comply with the can-spam act, but you will be charged accordingly.
