If there are some backlinks from one site (one domain name) but from different pages of this site, can these backlinks improve Google PR as same as backlinks from different sites?

no

multiple links from one domain are discounted - one link form one domain is the best you can ask for

I believe that one, several, or a "few" links can be benificial, but that any more than that might start to count against you.

I can't prove it, but if I was designing a search engine I wouldn't count 100 or a 1000 links on one site, that all point to some other site as being that important.

There would, however, be a sliding scale for the linking site, as to its age, importance, authority, and other "quality" factors.

Agree with g1smd - this subject more complicated than it appears. It also depends which pages the links point to - loads to the home page from one site to another could flag a problem but a few, on-topic, from different places to different (deep) pages could be very beneficial. IMHO.
