As a newbie here I was at first a little disappointed by not being able to see people's links to the sites they refer to(maybe I could learn something there). But after about 12 minutes, I became extremely aware of why you refuse such material.
This site is essentially a reference book in a library. An encyclopedia, if you will. It is not a trashy mag filled with fluff to sell ad space.
The rules here limit only a small amount of good information, but protect this site from becoming consumed by rubbish.
In addition, for those who are truly interested, there is a link to your personal website on the left under your details in each post, and a PM will surely extract all the information anyone wants.
Dont change the rules EVER!!!!!
Rob.

I personally avoid several such sites where every post has a large signture promoting some devious scheme designed to game the search engines.
The difference in usage of page real estate here and at some other sites is quite apparant, after only minutes of clicking around.
Glad you like that idea too.
