Hi,
When I search in Lycos, I found there are "Featured Lycos Partner" listed at the top of result page, then followed by "Sponsored Link".
What's a "Featured Lycos Partner"? What's the difference between "Featured Lycos Partner" and "Sponsored Link" in Lycos?
Thanks for your help?

The sponsored links are Overture and the Featured links are Lycos own ads sold through a third party called Touch i believe.
So the difference one is Overture PPC listings and the other is a fixed (normally 12 months) fee, with the costs depending on the keyterm so Secured Loan would be a lot more than banana boat maker chelsea if you catch my drift.

They are sold through Touch. They are always pestering me to sign up. I have now been added to their 'do not call' list.

FYI, this is the reply I received from Lycos.
The "Featured Lycos Partner" is the #1 bidder on the AdBuyer program. The
following "Sponsored Link" ads are provided by the Google Adwords program. The
remainder of the AdBuyer ads appear under " More Sponsored Links".
