    I'm not impressed by such a competition. Very cheap link building program for the contest holder.

    Manipulating Google results with "googlebombing" for fun / mischief & doing it to launch/position a website are too different things.

    Looks like a publicity stunt that could backfire badly and possibly get the domain banned by Google.. Don't think they will like this one.

    Anyone thinking of participating should think again.

    That's true, Excell, but think of it this way: it's a great way for Google to identify all those Rogue SEOs (i.e., spammers) and get rid of all of their sites.

    The more power to them. I certainly will be watching on the sidelines on this one.

    I think its a dodgy post anyhow as the same guy posted a few of them the same, when he could have just looked it up on Google, a bit odd me-thinks.

    Yes - no doubt we will hear more from those that seek to play...
    {wonder if folks care at all about reputation - it's gotta be worth more than a mere K1}

    This is a fairly lame marketing strategy aimed at increasing exposure for the echolist site itself (and obviously created by echolist)..
    I don't see much use in participating or taking this path to increased traffic or exposure

    I have yet to participate in, nor pay attention to, any SEO competitions. I got sites to optimize!
