I am about to give goto a run. What would you say is the average click through rate for a term positioned in the top 3 on goto?I realise that it could vary quite a bit. I only need a rough guide.

It will all depend on what keywords you are using - some of the adult keywords, and things like 'jobs' or 'property' will probably yield quite a high clickthru rate, wheras if you're buying the keyphrase 'butchers in cornwall' - then you're not going to get quite as many searches and therefore clickthrus  )Sev

I don't know about this but my listing at Searchhound has produced zero traffic.
I have had #1 spot for several very popular keywords (by Goto standards) for the past 10 days and not used any of my balance.Gordon
