Hi I'm new here. Not sure if I have the right forum, but will give it a shot. I've learned everything as far as computers-bulding them etc, internet, web design through the school of hard knocks you might say. And I must add through wonderful people at forums such as this. I've always looked at life & endevors as 'nothing ventured-nothing gained'
As I said I've been creating webpages for a while now, and got to thinking. Why should I create, manage them & send them on to a host to get them up & running. Why not offer both, web design & hosting. A lot of work I know, but its worth a shot. For the learning process before taking a client on, I thought I'd set myself up as such, learn the ropes and then offer my services. Now this is where I run into "Help?!" please.
I have my domain name, as well I've purchased a good plan for websharing. So that's step one. My domain name shows in my control panel, now how do I set it up so I can start building my site? I'm rather confused with all of the jargon. Domain Manager, Account control panel, reseller control panel. I'd really be grateful for any help so I can get my page set up as a client, and on line.
    With thanks, mitchellway
